As we are approaching the phonics screening check, please set aside time to watch the virtual classroom films with your child. Find a quiet space for your child to watch the film on a laptop or tablet. Praise your child as they join in with the lesson.

Friends of Adamsrill - Summer Fair Message
It's less than a month now until the Adamsrill Circus Fair 🥳🎪🤹♀️🤹♂️ the success of these events relies wholly on everyone getting involved and helping out where they can. Here are some things that you can do to help and dates for your diary.
🎪 Join the team of creatives that are responsible for making the playgrounds look stunning and get involved on the day to help decorate the two playgrounds
🎪 Run a craft stall - there are two craft stalls that need organising and running on the day: paper jester-hats and one other craft to be decided. Get in touch if you think you can help out
🎪 Donate a toy 🐻 and/or a bottle 🍾 there will be a toy tombola and a bottle tombola at the fair this year. Please only donate toys that are in excellent condition, ones that you might give to a good friend. Donate these by Monday 19th June
🎪 Hoop a Jar - a much loved game for all. Please donate your filled jars by Monday 19th June. These can be any glass jars filled with small toys, sweets (wrapped only), stickers and stationery. Please remember we are a Nut Free school, so absolutely no nuts in the jars.
🎪 Cakes - please bake a cake or biscuits for the circus themed stall. These can be brought in from Thursday 22nd June.
🎪Raffle - If you can donate any raffle prizes, for example vouchers or experiences please get in touch, every little helps!
Please could parents and carers ask at work if your company does any match funding. Sometimes companies will double the takings from a stall if they have an employee on the stall-this is an amazing way to make money for the school!

Spontaneous Productions - Hare V Tortoise
It’s going to be a lovely sunny weekend, perfect weather to join Spontaneous Productions in Home Park for our fun filled family show, ‘Hare V Tortoise & other Aesop’s Fables'.
All tickets £6 (under 3s FREE) – There can't be a more affordable show for families in London this summer!
This is a brand-new musical adaptation of the classic fables of Greek storyteller Aesop. Featuring the world-famous story of the Hare and the Tortoise, it weaves together five more brilliant stories, complete with toe-tapping songs
Sat 27-Sun 28 May, Thu 1, Fri 2, Sat 3 & Sun 4 June 2023
at 2pm & 3.30pm,
Suitable for families with children of all ages. Show lasts approx 45 mins
The show will be performed in HOME PARK, behind Sydenham Library 210 Sydenham Rd SE26 5SE
Please note this is an outdoor performance, so please bring
appropriate clothing, sun screen and/or umbrellas and waterproof blankets to sit on.
