 Nursery Admission

Most children, after attending the Nursery, are offered places in one of our two Reception classes. There are 60 places in the Reception classes and a small number of children who have not been through our Nursery are admitted.

It should be noted that an offer of a Nursery place does not guarantee an offer of a place in a Reception class. You must apply again for admission into the Reception classes. Places are allocated by Lewisham Education Admissions Team, you can find more information on the Lewisham website.

Our Reception and Nursery September intake is staggered, and all children benefit from a home visit before starting.

All Reception classes are staffed by a qualified teacher and a qualified Nursery Nurse.

The Nursery can offer part-time places to 25 children in the morning and 25 children in the afternoon. From September 2020, this will be 16 full-time places and 18 part-time places (depending on demand, this can be reviewed).

Only Nursery admissions are managed by the school.

Nursery Packed Lunches

"We are Nut-Free school. We set out all measures to reduce the risk to those children and adults who may suffer an anaphylactic reaction if exposed to nuts to which they are sensitive. We aim to protect children who have allergies to nuts yet also help them, as they grow up, to take responsibility as to what foods they can eat and to be aware of where they may be put at risk. We do not allow nuts or nut products in school lunch boxes.

The following items should not be brought into school: Packs of nuts, Peanut butter sandwiches, fruit and cereal bars that contain nuts, Chocolate bars or sweets that contain nuts, Sesame seed rolls (children allergic to nuts may also have a severe reaction to sesame), Cakes made with nuts.
